Welcome to Thinking Big Financial

Money is bigger than what’s in your bank account.

Financial planning and investment management for creating the life you envision.

HOLISTIC, VALUES-DRIVEN FINANCIAL PLANNING

Most people think of financial planning as simply saving for the future and investing money in the stock market. But money can only take you so far in life. To live the life you envision, you need to dream big with collaborators who will empower you every step of the way.

Before we even look at your finances, we spend time understanding you, identifying your values, and learning about what you hope for the future. We avoid approaching our conversations with “shoulds” and instead ask: What do you want out of life? How can we help you get there? You’ll come away with clarity about your dreams and aspirations, maybe for the first time.

From there, we keep the financial planning process simple. That may mean slimming down on the number of accounts you have or creating an easy-to-follow, monthly plan for your cash flow. Our investment strategies are straightforward so you know exactly what the strategy is. We help you develop a healthier relationship with your finances by challenging long-held beliefs about money that may be holding you back.

Our holistic, values-driven financial planning gives you the clarity to make difficult decisions later on in the process — because you already know what’s important to you. As a result, you’ll have the financial stability and freedom you’ve always wanted.

Let us become your thought-partners in living your life to the fullest.

A FINANCIAL ADVISOR WHO ASKS WHAT’S POSSIBLE.

Jim Marrocco, CFP®, CFA

When I started Thinking Big Financial, my mission was to help everyday people live the lives they wanted to live, even when it seemed impossible. I came from Wall Street, where investing and making money from it was the only goal. But I saw more possibilities in the financial world than just accumulating assets and funds. Now, I combine what I learned from Wall Street — discipline, expertise about the investment process, and understanding the market behaviors — with my passion for helping ordinary people with the money in their lives, specializing in the LGBTQ+ community.

As your financial collaborator, we can discover what’s possible. Learn more about me.

FINANCIAL PLANNING FOR THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY

When you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community, it’s important to work with a financial advisor who understands you and your lifestyle. As members of the community, we are sensitive to how laws, policies, and societal biases may have impacted your life and shaped your finances. Our team works with your unique household or family structure to ensure you and your loved ones are protected.

Just as importantly, we create an environment that is specifically welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. We know that being in a space without any awkwardness about identity, relationships, or lifestyle is crucial for meaningful financial planning. Everyone deserves the opportunity to plan for the life they envision in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
